Lab is an independent creative studio based in Mumbai that specializes in creative design, branding and digital.

Creative Directors, Lokesh Padmashali and Bhakti Garach established their studio, LAB in 2020. Their expertise has encompassed Art Direction, Branding, Design, Conception and Execution for – Identity Systems, Magazines, Digital Experiences and Packaging Designs. Lokesh has been contributing to the advertising and design industry for more than a decade and has previously worked with Rediffusion, Umbrella Design, and Open Strategy & Design. He has helped build brands including Taj Hotels, Tata Nano, Tata Sky, GVK Botanical Gardens and Opium Eyewear amongst many others.

Bhakti has worked at Open Strategy & Design with Lokesh on brands including Toshin, Altr, Foodhall, The Mumbai Press Club and Mee Mee. She has a keen eye for everything digital. They have won numerous national and international design awards. LAB's work lives at the intersection of art, culture and technology merging insights and experiences with clever design.
