AIM:

The Welfare of Stray Dogs is a Mumbai-based philanthropic organization working to eradicate rabies and control the street-dog population in a humane, scientific way. It was established in 1985 and is registered as a charitable trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. They are renowned for their on-site first aid and vaccination

programme, education and awareness programme, rehabilitating abandoned pets and helping adopt pariahs. Our objective was to give their visual identity a much-needed revamp that would create excitement around their outdoor stalls and thus help raise funds for their various programmes.

PROCEDURE:

To meet the brief, it was imperative to create illustrations that would directly address the sentimental nature of their audience. The contemporary styles chosen to execute the illustrations spoke equivocally to the generation of today and yesterday. Keeping its loyal fan base aside, the primary objective of these illustrations was to communicate with the younger generation, thus helping promote the cause and create awareness.
