• Brand Positioning
  • Brand Identity System
AIM:

A young and extremely talented interior designer duo wanted to solidify their growing reputation and client base with a new visual identity and robust online presence. Considering the client's vision, we set forth to creating an underlying system that could evoke interest using subtle structures that would

unveil themselves through layouts, grids and typography. The founders of The Yellow Grid asked us to create a new brand identity with minimalist aesthetics, an identity that would project confidence, logic and scale of the practice into its consumers.

PROCEDURE:

Using an aesthetically appealing and harmonious approach, we built the entire idea around a simple, adaptable logo. This logo found its beginning in the name of the brand and we proceeded by exploring how best to create a dynamic and flexible brand around it. The flexible grid device changes orientation and expands depending on the application, referring to the practice's core idea and allowing creative applications both on and offline. The pairing of a cheerful, sunshine yellow with an assortment of cool grey channels creates harmony thus making the brand more approachable than elite.

CONCLUSION:

In an attempt to strengthen its current user base and present themselves as a brand that's contemporary and flexible, The Yellow Grid's logo face draws its inspiration from all things modern but still maintains warm relatability – qualities that best describe the brand.
